My passion for massage started gradually and here you can read more about me and the steps I took.
I am keen on the environment since I was a teenager and I attended a course about Sustainability in 2010. I never focused on the social aspect as I had so much passion about the Nature but I opened my mind thanks to the Master Degree program Strategic Sustainable Development at Blekinge Institute of Technology (Karlskrona, Sweden).
It was such inspiring course that I felt like going deeper in the social aspect like the cooperation, to take care and to cure the others and I joined a course in Naturopathy medicine. It was a basic course where I could have an overview of this holistic approach to medicine and clearly understand that our own bodies have the power of heal themselves. The main topics were Nutrition, Homeopathy, Herbal medicine, Massage, Aromatheraphy and Reflexology.
I was impressed how the touch of the hands can unlock blockages and trigger the healing process. That`s why I went to Thailand to study at Thai Massage School of Thailand in Chiang Mai. I attended the GCT course of 300 hours and I earned the Teaching Credential as Government Certified Teacher, recognized by the Thai Ministry of Education.
After finishing this course, I trained with a professional instructor to perform a Chinese abdominal massage called Chi Nei Tsang to heal the internal organs and to deal better with the emotions.
During my stay in Bangkok, I also had private teaching with Daniel Carr and Yang Kiat, two incredible teachers who share their knowledge about the Therapeutic power of the Thai Massage. I will be always thankful for such an amazing experience with them!
Life is a learning process, therefore I have been studying Trigger Points therapy and practicing with a physiotherapist, Ms Sofia Quintana who is specialized to help women during the pregnancy and after the delivery of the baby.
I also had the chance to travel in USA and I found an incredible school close in Chicago. The teachers founded the Clinical Thai Bodywork that combines the Thai knowledge with the Trigger Points Therapy: an excellent mix of eastern and western medicine to cure the chronic pain.
During the summer 2014, I studied with Dr. Arno L`Hermitte, a French ostepath who founded the Osteo Thai school to teach ostepathic tecniques combined with the Thai massage. The main focus of the course was the joints manipulation and articulation, which helps to increase the movement in the joints. Therefore those are excellent tecniques to enhance the flexibility and dicrease the pain of muscles linked to the joints.
Over the years, I realized the importance of combining physical body work with energy healing that is why I became a practicioner of Life Alignment. It is a complete energy healing system who support people to deal with physical and emotional blockages. Thanks to Reiki I am also able to feel what your body needs the most and work on the weak areas.
To conclude, I believe that the health of the human beings is one of the key elements of our development towards a more sustainable world. I decided to become a Massage Therapist & Energy Healer to relieve from different levels of pain as happier people create a better society and environment.
"A true healer does not heal you; she simply reflects back to you your innate capacity to heal. She is a reflector, or a loving transparency.
A true teacher does not teach you; she does not see you as inherently separate from her, or less than her. She simply reflects back your own inner knowing, and reminds you of the vastness of your being. She is a mirror, a signpost.
And love is the space in which all of this is possible; love heals, and we learn best in a loving field, no threat of failure, no punishment." ~ Jeff Foster
